“Melech” - original painting on canvas. Inspired by the white lions of South Africa. Moira used acrylic paints, paper layers (collage), stenciled texture, gold wax and iridescent paint to complete this work. The result is a night sky with movement and stars in multiple layers, behind and integrated in the mane of a colorful, serene lion. See this piece in person now at Kenai Art Center!
